Jajpur district Rasulpur block’s leading voluntary organization Jamanar Duoto Kalya Charitable Trust has taken up various programs. In this series, a new stilt house has been built by the trust for Asahaya Kashni Routar of Dih Kuran village under Rahamba panchayat of the block. For a few years, Kashni had lost her husband and in-laws and was living in a Biju pucca house provided by the government with her only son. Since there was no stilt house, she used to spend her days without cooking and eating breakfast. Even monkeys and snakes used to enter the house.
The construction of a new stilt house has been completed by the trust. The event was attended by Trust Chairperson Minti Sahu, Vice Chairperson Janmejay Sahu, President Nimain Panda, Editor Gopal Patra, Treasurer Bhagwan Dash, Founder Nihar Ranjan Acharya, Former President Basant Kumar Shatapathy, Vice Chairperson Sangata Acharya, Organizational Editor Gyan Ranjan Rath, Executive President Pradeep Samal, General Secretary Rabindra Mishra, Sudam Charan Das, Vrindavan Padhi, Satya Narayan Jena, Subhendu Shatapathy, Manas Mallik, Sumant Rath, Santosh Nayak, President of Social Welfare Teachers Organization Arvind Dash, Editors Ganeshwar Sahu, Basant Patra, Sivananda Panda Anjan Das, Amarendra Mallik, Susanta Parshti, Vidyadhar Sahu, Vishnu Charan Samal, Golak Rout, Sudam Charan Nayak, Biswajit Das, Prabhasini Mall, Ashok Kumar Sahu, Veenapani Pradhan, Vishnupriya Pani, Prashant Swain, Vijay Kumar Sahu were present and completed the construction work. It has been decided that the entire expenses of the funeral of Kashni’s son will be borne by the trust in the coming days, the trust has informed.
