Aam Aadmi Party has demanded the resignation of the Education Minister over the errors in the textbooks. Aam Aadmi Party has also submitted a memorandum to the Honorable Governor through the District Collector regarding the issue of correcting the books and issuing new ones, investigating and taking action against the concerned officials and ensuring that errors do not occur in the future. Many serious errors have been found on 122 pages in the textbooks of classes 1 to 8 of the government education system of Odisha.
Due to which the opposition has started a direct attack on the BJP government in the state. AAP leader Bhavani Sahu has alleged that the government is playing games with the future of lakhs of students of the state. Mr. Sahu has alleged that the government is conspiring to destroy the government education system and support the private sector. Mr. Sahu has said that Aam Aadmi Party will start the education rescue campaign. State Secretary Bhavani Sahu, women’s leader Maryam Barla, Duang Nag, and Asit Sahu were present when Deputy Collector Sumati Panda was presented with a memorial letter.
