Malkangiri district Chitrakonda police have seized a cow. According to information, on the instructions of Chitrakonda police station officer Jay Narayan Khandei, a three-member team led by ASI Karamdas Kachim and ASI Daitari Muduli from the area of Badpadar Panchayat Lambasing in Chitrakonda block was illegally smuggling 60 cows to other states.
The police have seized the cows. It has been reported that these cows are being smuggled to the neighboring state of Andhra Pradesh. The cows seized by the Chitrakonda police have been distributed to the local people. The efforts made by the police to prevent the smuggling of cows have been highly appreciated.
