Odisha Voter List Revision: Record 98.95% Forms Distributed; Sundargarh Districts Leads the Race!

The ongoing special intensive revision process of the voter list in Odisha has now reached a record 98.95 percent in an accelerated phase. Similarly, 34.54 percent of the digitization i.e. 1 crore 15 lakh 36 thousand 537 voters have been digitized so far. As per the directions of the Election Commission, the work of distribution, collection and digitization of the counting forms on a large scale is going on on a war footing to make the voter list in the state more transparent, accurate and systematic.

​According to the report received from the office of the Chief Electoral Officer, remarkable success has been achieved in the voter revision work in the state till 6 pm on June 14. As of today, 98.95 percent of the form distribution i.e. 3 crore 30 lakh 49 thousand 188 voters have been completed.

In this process, Sundargarh district is at the forefront in the state by distributing 100 percent forms. The administration has been completely successful in reaching the counting forms to every eligible voter in the district. The district is also leading in digitizing the collected data, not only in distributing the forms. Till date, the digitization of 62.71 percent of the voter forms in Sundargarh district has been successfully completed.
As the forms have reached about 99% of the voters in the state, the administration is now fully focused on digitization. As the average digitization in the state is 34.54% so far, this process will be further accelerated in the coming days.

​After the completion of this digitization process, the names of deceased, transferred and deceased voters will be removed from the voter list and a complete and error-free final voter list will be published. The booth-level officials engaged in this work have been instructed to complete the work within the stipulated time frame.

The distribution, collection and digitization of the Enumeration Forms is targeted to be completed by 28th June 2026. All voters are requested to fully cooperate with the BLOs working door-to-door in the locality and submit their forms before the deadline.

If the Enumeration Forms are not submitted within the stipulated time, regular verification and further action will be taken against the names of the persons concerned. Therefore, all eligible voters are requested to submit their Enumeration Forms as soon as possible.
