Public Grievance Camp at Telerai GP: Collector Listens to Public Issues, Administers Nasha Mukt Bharat Pledge!

A district-level grievance redressal camp was successfully held today in Telrai Gram Panchayat area under Kalimela block of Malkangiri district under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Pratesh Arvind Rajeshirke. The program was attended by all the senior officers of the district including Superintendent of Security Vinod Patil H, DFO Sai Kiran, District Chief Development Officer Dasharathi Sarabu and Sub-Collector Duryodhan Bhoi. Hundreds of people from the locality attended the camp and presented their various problems and grievances directly to the District Magistrate and other officials.


On this occasion, the District Magistrate said that solving the problems of the people is the priority of the government. All the departments have been directed to thoroughly investigate each individual and group complaint and provide justice within a specified time frame. The District Magistrate has strictly directed the concerned departmental officers to take immediate necessary steps for the speedy resolution of the problems of the people. In addition, the District Collector visited the stalls of various government welfare schemes organized in the camp premises and reviewed their implementation and preparation.

A total of 36 complaints were registered in this camp. Out of which 13 were based on individual problems and 23 were related to group problems. The officials present immediately investigated the facts and one complaint was resolved on the spot. In addition, in order to prevent drug abuse from the society, a mass oath-taking ceremony was organized on this occasion in accordance with the Drug-Free India Campaign, in which all the officials and the public came together and took a vision to build a drug-free society.
