A complaint hearing camp for the community development officer and tehsildar has been organized at Sindhrimal Gram Panchayat in Malkangiri Sadar Block. Under the supervision of Malkangiri Community Development Officer Tapan Kumar Sahabi, Additional Tehsildar Umesh Pujari, Sindhrimal Sarpanch Ghasi Nayak, Additional Community Education Officer Gaurang Anilkan, Supply Inspector Rajesh Shabar, and block level employees of Forest Department, Police Administration, Revenue Department, and all departments were present to hear the complaints and resolve them. A total of 86 complaints were heard today, out of which 23 complaints were resolved.
Among the complaints, complaints were made regarding Dhanmandi problems, old age allowance, house lease, forest land lease, pucca house scheme, drinking water problems and various development works in rural areas. Especially this year, farmers have complained about various problems in the Dhan Mandi run by Lamps. We have complained about irregularities in the Dhan Mandi and the fact that Lamps Kartup Ksha is giving priority to farmers and brokers. Next year, the farmers have demanded that Lamps be removed from the responsibility of managing the mandi and the responsibility of managing the M.V.
11 Dhan Mandi be given to the Women Self-Help Group. When asked about this, the Community Development Officer Tapan Kumar Sahabi said that the relevant department has been informed about the Dhan Mandi and that discussions will be held on how to manage the Dhan Mandi smoothly in the coming days and other problems will be resolved. On the other hand, discussions will be held with the above-mentioned officials to remove Lamps from the Dhan Mandi and give priority to the Women Self-Help Group and manage the Dhan Mandi, said Sarpanch Shri Nayak.
