Smart Classrooms & Modern Labs: Godabarisha Mishra Adarsha Primary Schools Coming to Nuapada

Hon’ble Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has laid the foundation stone of Jenjera and Kukudatal schools in Nuapada district through virtual medium to develop them into Godavarish Mishra model primary schools.

With the aim of further strengthening and modernizing the primary education system of the state, the Department of Schools and Public Education, Government of Odisha, has laid the foundation stone of 204 Godavarish Mishra model primary schools in the second phase.

On this occasion, Hon’ble Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi attended the state-level program organized at Loknath Deb Government High School in Khurda district as the chief guest and laid the foundation stone of the said two schools through virtual medium. The program was attended by School and Mass Education Minister Nityanand Gand, Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan, Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Suresh Pujari.

Government High School, Jenjera and Government Higher Primary School, Kukudatal in Nuapada district will be included in this scheme and developed as Godavarish Mishra Adarsh ​​Primary School.

Under this scheme, various infrastructure facilities including smart classrooms, modern laboratories, rich libraries, advanced learning equipment will be created.

On this occasion, a district-level function was organized at Government High School, Jenjera under the chairmanship of District Collector Madhusudan Dash. Nuapada Honorable MLA Jai Dholakia attended the program as the chief guest and said that the various steps taken by the state government in the education sector will help in the quality development of education.

Khadial Road NAC Chairperson Dr. Sonia Jain, Nuapada Block Chairperson Tareshwari Sahu, Komna Block Chairperson Anusuya Kumbar, District Council Member Uma Thakur, Panchayat Samiti Member Kuntibai Sahu and eminent educationist Shivprasad Behera were prominently present.

During the state-level program, the Chief Minister interacted with teachers and students of Mayurbhanj, Koraput, Balasore and Nuapada districts through virtual mode. Pramila Kunda, a teacher from Nuapada district, spoke to the Chief Minister about the improvement of school infrastructure and how students will benefit from the Godavarish Mishra Adarsh ​​Primary School Scheme.

Briefing the media after the program, District Collector Madhusudan Dash said that this scheme will bring about qualitative changes in the primary education sector of the district and will help in the all-round development of the students. He expressed the hope that improved educational infrastructure and modern learning facilities will help in improving the educational skills of the students.

District Education Officer and District Project Coordinator, All-round Education Dr. Prashant Kumar Mohanty, Additional District Education Officer Reshmalal Nayak, Principal Om Prakash Supakar, along with teachers, students, villagers and media representatives were present in large numbers.
