Bargarh Paddy Procurement Row: Hundreds Of Farmers Stage Protest Outside Cooperative Office

The grief of the farmers of Bargarh district of Odisha, the rice market in the district is going to close in just 6 days. More than 1 lakh 5 thousand farmers in the district had registered for the Rabi season this year, but out of them, 4 thousand 5 hundred farmers have not received their tokens.

On the other hand, out of the remaining 1 lakh farmers, the farmers who have received tokens have also been left stranded in the sea. Due to this, the farmers are becoming increasingly dissatisfied. The market situation is not good, more than 5 lakh packets of rice are lying in the field. Today, the farmers are sitting in front of the district cooperative office with a plan. They have warned that they will block the highway if the problem is not resolved.
