Illegal Liquor Trade Uncovered in PMAY House

While the government is providing houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana to the poor, now such a house has become a hub for illegal trade. It has been alleged that tadka is being sold openly in a house built on PMAY in Khudpej village, just 50 meters away from the Khariar-Boden main road. Such illegal drug trade on the main road and in public areas has led to intense public discontent in the local area. When the Sub-Inspector of Khadial Abkari police station was asked about this sensitive incident, he gave a shocking information.

He said that the accused in question was earlier arrested for the same crime and tried in court. A few days ago, he was released on bail from the court. After getting bail, the person in question, instead of reforming, has started illegal tadka business again in the same place. However, the Excise Department is keeping an eye on it and the Excise Sub-Inspector has assured that strict action will be taken against the accused soon. On the other hand, the local people are very upset as the accused is repeatedly committing the same crime even after getting bail.

Since he continues his illegal activities in defiance of the court orders, the public has demanded that the Excise Department should take legal steps to immediately cancel his bail. Since local women and students feel unsafe while traveling due to this illegal establishment, there is a strong demand from the public that the district administration and the police should pay special attention to this and take immediate action.
