Bikashar Dhara Odisha Sara: Mega SC-ST Dialogue Conference Organised in Nuapada District.

On the occasion of the second anniversary of the state government’s public relations program ‘Vikashar Dara, Odisha Sara’, a district-level caste-tribe news meeting was held at the local National College auditorium. The development of the Scheduled Castes and Tribes in the district, their problems, possibilities and future course of action were discussed in detail in this meeting. CDIO Lambadar Dharua delivered the welcome speech at the program. Later, District Welfare Officer Sanjay Bhoi gave an introduction on the remarkable achievements of the state government in various schemes, education, scholarship, livelihood and social security for the welfare of the Scheduled Castes and Tribes in the last two years.


The program, organized under the chairmanship of District Collector Madhusudan Dash, was attended by District Special Development Council Chairman Hom Singh Majhi as the chief guest. In his speech, Shri Majhi praised the multifaceted steps of the state government for the economic, educational and social empowerment of the Scheduled Castes and Tribes. Special Development Council Vice Chairman Belmati Majhi, Nuapada Panchayat Samiti Chairperson Tareshwari Sahu, District Council Vice Chairman Deepika Deep, Boden Block Vice Chairman Sangata Majhi, Darlimunda Gram Panchayat Sarpanch Adarani Mirdha, District Council Members Bharatlal Raut and Bhanupratap Singh Majhi, District Dumb-Ganda Samaj and Scheduled Caste Welfare Committee President Harikesh Jal, and Scheduled Caste Welfare Committee Murali Suna attended the event as the guests of honour.


Community representatives, stakeholders and public representatives present in the discussion circle presented their views and suggestions on various developmental issues. Emphasis was laid on further accelerating the overall development of the district through everyone’s participation and coordinated efforts. Swachh Bharat District Coordinator Anil Kumar Lenka moderated the forum.
