Forest Guard Critically Injured in a Severe Road Accident!

A female forest guard has been seriously injured in a road accident at DNK Chack in Malkangiri Sadar Subdistrict. The injured forest guard is Rashmita Subuddhi. According to information, Rashmita was riding a scooty near DNK traffic intersection when the traffic signal turned red and she stopped. Later, when the signal turned green, the scooty moved forward when a truck coming from behind, which was engaged in the construction of a tube well, hit her. As a result, Rashmita fell on the road and the rear wheel of the truck ran over her left hand. After the accident, she was immediately admitted to the Malkangiri District Headquarters Hospital with the help of locals and police. According to the doctor, since her health condition is critical, it has been recommended to shift her outside for better treatment.

After receiving the news of the accident, Malkangiri DFO Sai Kiran and other senior forest department officials reached the district headquarters hospital and discussed with the doctors about Rashmita’s health condition. The forest department has informed that all steps are being taken to provide necessary medical services and provide better treatment.

Rashmita’s house is known to be in Banpur area of ​​Khurda district. Concern has been expressed among the forest department staff and the local people regarding the incident. The police have started an investigation into the incident.
