A condolence meeting and tribute program was held by the Biju Janata Dal of Kalahandi district at the local Jagannath Temple premises in an emotional atmosphere on the demise of former minister and senior Biju Janata Dal (BJD) leader Late Sushant Singh. Many senior leaders, workers and workers of the party came together to offer floral tributes to the photo of Late Singh and paid their deepest respects to him.
At the beginning of the program, a two-minute silent prayer was observed in the name of the departed soul of Late Sushant Singh. Later, the leaders present remembered his political life, dedication to public service and his contribution to strengthening the organization and paid emotional tributes.
The speakers said that Sushant Singh was not only a politician, but also a eloquent, fearless and efficient organizer known throughout Odisha. Especially during the Covid pandemic, the way he stood by the common people and extended his hand of service and cooperation will always be remembered. They expressed their opinion that his dedication, simple approach and strong leadership in solving the problems of the people had given him a special place in the hearts of the common people.
The leaders present at the condolence meeting said that the untimely demise of Sushant Singh is an irreparable loss not only for the Biju Janata Dal but also for the politics of the entire state. The speakers said that his experience, organizational skills and dedication to public service will always be a source of inspiration for the new generation of leaders.
