This year, the flood water flowing in the Brahmani river caused damage in many places. As a result, many low-lying areas were affected. Especially, many families of Ward No. 18 in Mangarajpur Panchayat Kadavadi, Rasulpur Block, Jajpur District were inundated with water. Since many families had waterlogged houses, they took shelter on the river embankment. Meanwhile, the flood victims expressed their dissatisfaction as no help was provided by the government.
After receiving news that they were facing various problems, many voluntary organizations reached out to the flood victims and extended a helping hand. In this regard, BJP youth leader of Mangarajpur Panchayat Prashant Kumar Muduli reached Ward No. 18 and provided dry food and essential items to the flood-affected families. Gagan Mohanty, Shishir Rath, Sanjay Satapathy, Vichitr Mallick, Babuli Pandey, Sanjay Kumar Satapathy, Shivprasad Pandey, Indramani Panda, Utkal Sahu, Prashant Satapathy and Tuna Behera were prominently present and contributed.
