Malkangiri Congress Condemns Police Crackdown on Rahul Gandhi and Protesting Students in Delhi

Malkangiri District Congress has strongly condemned and protested against the police’s treatment and attack on opposition party leaders Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi and students who were peacefully protesting in Delhi. On the instructions of Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) President Bhaktacharan Das, the District Congress Committee staged a protest in front of the Malkangiri District Magistrate’s office and burnt an effigy of the Central Government.

In Delhi, students who were peacefully protesting against the paper leak were brutally attacked by the police. Opposition party leader Rahul Gandhi was also mistreated, which is an insult to democracy and the Constitution. All these actions are being taken on the orders of the Modi government at the Centre. If this atrocity does not stop, then in the coming days, the Congress party, Youth Congress, Students Congress and Women’s Congress will jointly protest across the country.”

Opposition leader Rahul Gandhi has a lot of respect in the country. We completely condemn the way he and the students were humiliated at the behest of the BJP and the central government. The Prime Minister and the Home Minister are behind this action. Malkangiri Congress will continue to protest against this. A large number of leaders and workers of the District Congress, Women’s Congress, Students Congress, Youth Congress and Kisan Cell were present in this protest program.
