Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi today felicitated Shri Bubun Sahu of Tolkapada village, Anandpur Block, Keonjhar district, who secured the first position in the Odisha Civil Service (OCS) Examination-2024 at Lok Seva Bhawan, and congratulated him for this remarkable achievement.
On this occasion, the chief minister said that public service is the main goal of administration. He advised people to work dedicatedly for the welfare of the people, good governance, and delivery of government services to the last mile, giving more importance to the welfare of the people, good governance, and the upliftment of children, women, and socially and educationally backward classes of the society. The chief minister asked them to develop themselves as a good administrator as well as a good human being.
Shri Bubun Sahu was selected for the Odisha Police Service last year and is currently undergoing training as a DSP in the Odisha Police at the Biju Patnaik State Police Academy (BPSPA) in Bhubaneswar from March 2026.
Shri Sahu’s father, Shri Bhagwan Sahu, is a farmer, and mother, Smt. Kunjalata Sahu, is a housewife. The chief minister also congratulated both of them for this unique achievement of their son.
