An emergency meeting of the Nuapada District Supply Assistant Association was held at Kalyan Mandap near Kureshwar Gram Panchayat, Komna Block. Supply assistants from five blocks of the district were present in the said meeting. The meeting was presided over by the association president Narendra Bagh, while the editor Patrambar Sagariya managed the forum.
The salary increase of the supply assistants, permanent appointments, and Chief Minister’s Arnapura Yojana Rice has been stored in the panchayat for a month, but since the distribution order has not been received, there is a fear that the rice may dry up due to the current summer heat. Various such problems were discussed in the meeting. In this meeting, Uve Ram Gowda from Nuapada block, Sadan Patel from Sinapali block, Manoj Jagat from Khadial block, Prem Biswal from Boden block, Upendra Nayak, Gautam Bhoi, and Ratanlal Sahis from Komna block helped in the smooth conduct of the meeting. A total of about 35 supply assistants were present in this meeting. Finally, the vote of thanks was proposed by Shri Sagariya.
