All the supply assistants of Muribahal block have gone on collective leave from July 10th as various demands were not met. They have given a written letter to Muribahal BDI on the 6th in this regard.
The letter given by the Supply Assistants Association Muribahal Block mentions that on June 16, 2026, they gave a written notice to the state government and the state administration. They complained that despite serving sincerely for 14 years, their legitimate demands have not been resolved.
At that time, they said that they would cooperate with the government’s new CMAY scheme and if the demands were not met by July 10th, they would take collective leave from July 10th and intensify the agitation if necessary.
However, now that the foodgrain distribution has been announced for the months of July and August 2026, the association has requested that the government or the district administration should not exert direct or indirect pressure on any member of the association. Even if the work starts from the 1st, it is not possible to complete the distribution by the 9th. Therefore, if the holiday starts from the 10th, the beneficiaries will face problems.
Keeping in mind the public interest, the letter states that the Yognan Aayogs have unanimously decided not to do the distribution work for the months of July and August. For this, they have requested the administration to make alternative arrangements.
A copy of this letter has also been sent to the Chief Minister, Food Supplies and Consumer Welfare Minister, Chief Secretary and Principal Secretary.
In this letter, the President of the Yognan Aayog Sangh Muribahal Block, Ajantula Banachor and Editor Ranjan Putel, submitted their demands to the BDO in the presence of the Chief Minister.
