World No Tobacco Day: Tata Steel Foundation Organizes Special Campaign for a Tobacco-Free Future

Tata Steel Foundation celebrated World No Tobacco Day at Gandhigadia village under Nuahata Gram Panchayat. Around 100 community members including youth, women and children participated in the awareness programme. The main objective of the programme was to create awareness about the harmful effects of tobacco consumption and to promote a healthy lifestyle.

Managing Directors of Salam Jeevan Organization Dr. Mohammad Imran Ali and Dr. Anjana addressed the gathering and highlighted the health, social, and economic ill effects of tobacco consumption. The participants actively participated in the awareness session and discussion.

As part of the program, the community members took a collective pledge to abstain from tobacco consumption and to make others aware about its ill effects. This initiative reaffirms Tata Steel Foundation’s commitment to building healthy communities and encouraging positive behavioral changes.
