Employees employed in various government organizations by outsourcing companies in Malkangiri district have complained that the outsourcing companies that employed them are exploiting them in various ways. For example, employees of most departments have been repeatedly complaining about asking for bribes while issuing appointment letters, paying less than the salary mentioned in the appointment letter and irregularly, not paying EPF money properly, etc.
They have said that due to non-payment of salary on time and being paid less than the prescribed salary, it is difficult to run a family with such a small amount of money and as a result, the employees have complained that they are facing various problems. In this context, today, employees of the Malkangiri Soil Testing Research Institute, employed by the LTC Commercial Company, New Delhi, met Malkangiri MLA Narasinh Madka today and lodged a complaint against this exploitation by the outsourcing company and submitted a complaint letter for its resolution. MLA Shri Madakami has assured the employees that he will take steps to resolve this.
